Department History

As been related to Gandhi family FGC has very prestigious history.

With an aim to develop among the students interest in national security and defence, the department of Military Studies was established in the year 1972 in Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli.Learned Scholars and academicians joined as faculty members.

UGC sponsored Seminar on Indian Defence was organized by the Department on 16th - 17th April, 1994 which was inaugurated by Governer of U.P. Hon’ble Shri Motilal Vohra.
